What happened to frank shamrock in his fight against cung le?

I guess something happened to his arm? Just wanted to know if anyone knows the details of what actually happened to him.

A bone in his forearm was broken in two by one of Cung's kicks. He had to have a metal plate inserted. If you listen to the interview at the end of the fight, Cung says he knew Frank's arm was injured from earlier in the fight, so he kept attacking it. Below is a good article about the fight:

Reply:He checked a high kick near the end of the third round and it broke his arm. Was probably hurting before that but that did it.





You could tell between rounds that he was trying to fight it off, but it was too much and he just lay down on the canvas in pain.
Reply:Evidentally, he thought he was in an exhibition fight. He did more horseplaying than fighting and got his arm broken.
