Reply:Ortiz won with the help of Ref Herb Dean's early stoppage. It was very sad looking...almost like it was planned.
Reply:Ortiz won...saw it on PPV. I was quite pissed off with the stoppage of the fight. even though I think ORtiz would have won anyway, I dont think the fight was decided fairly.
Reply:Ortiz. It sucked because the fight went on for like 1.18 mins. Ortiz cornered Shamrock to the fence and straight elbowed his face 6 times! It was great but I wanted them to go all 3 rounds. It was a TKO on the 1st round. Dean pissed me off. I thought it was sooo fixed. What a waste of 40 bucks.

Reply:That fight was called way too soon. After all the hype they've forced down our throats, too. I've seen fighters take way more shots without actively defending than that, and the fight wasn't called. Those guys were both fresh still.To me it looks like they're trying to make even more hype and sensationalism to sucker people into spending more cash on another pay per view. Regardless of whether it was a scam or not, I know I won't bother watching another UFC pay per view. I'll just wait until they show the reruns on Spike or it gets posted on the net. Boo UFC. You screwed the pooch on this one.
Reply:i agree with all of you the fight was stoped way too soon and yes herb dean is to cautious and should never be allowed to ref another main event again it should have been big john in their refing because he knows the fighters and he knows how much punishment each fighter can take if he was in their he would have let it go longer i hope their is a rematch so shamrock can shut tito's big ****** mouth... and for frank mir he showed me nothing in fact i thought he lost that fight lookin like the electric fat man he needs to get back in shape because he looked like dog crap.
Reply:Am I the only one who thinks Herb Dean stops fights too soon? I'm glad Ortiz won but I didn't want to see him win cause the ref stopped the fight to early. I think it time UFC brought in another ref to replace Dean.
Reply:ortiz did in the first round TKO it was quick and i think the ref should have let it go longer. Ortiz was getting him with elbows on the ground, and i think shamrock could have recovered, but herb dean stopped the fight almost immeadiatley
