Does Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock belong on my all-time MMA favorite fighters list?

definetely especially ken shamrock he was part of ufc before they changed their policy and made it cleaner

Well Tito does, but I'd flip a coin on Shamrock being a frickin cry baby and all after losing to Tito three times and all and making such a big deal out of the whole thing just to lose in the end. Hey Tito loses but he just does his thing and part of fighting is that one chance you are going to lose, might as well be a frickin man about it. Its called having class as a fighter.

they both merit consideration, a better question might be where on the list do the they belong, on a standard top ten list i think tito would be bottom three/four, shamrock might be a tap higher because of WWF stuff. before the fit remember above all this is entertainment. but neither merits an "up there/top three" kind of consideration.
Reply:Most definately. They both had some insane matches and even against eachother, which they showed today on Spike T.v the replay of their match. It was great, and Shamrock fell short, but Tito took it and their both great fighters.

First Ken! This dude should have retired long ago and only embarassed himself recently with the UFC. Back in the day he was tough but the WWE stuff messed him up and went to his head. He is a premadona and the fame made him a bit of a jerk. On the Ultimate fighter he left the fighters to their own training and played golf with them and had serious losses. The merit of a man and a top 10 list should be his character as well as his fighting ability, and Ken Shamrock is lacking. Hey it's St. Pattie's day that might be enough since his name is Shamrock and all. Ken Shamrock was never really that good even back in the day if you watch him against Gracie.





Tito has a chance at a top 10 list but! Ok he was spanked by Randy Coture, has insulted everyone connected with the sport and distroyed his long time friendships with people like Chuck and Dana. He has burt bridges and been a real Jackass quite a few times. He has with the Ken Shamrock 3 times fighting debacle brought a bit of the WWE into the UFC and it was disgraceful. Sure he can ground and pound but if you stop him in the take down he is useless as demonstrated by Chuck. He was out wrestled by Randy and you can see holes in his game. Training in high altitude in Big Bear dose give him better cardio and he looks good when he fights. Is that enough and when he fights B fighters he looks great. He almost lost to Forest Griffen and in my way of looking at it Forest was robbed but Tito is a Super Star of the UFC. I say no to Tito.





In the end it comes down to wheather you like the attitudes and the fighting style of the 2 fighters. Ken is out dated in the ring today and Tito looks like a 1 or 2 trick pony with the take downs and ground and pound. I still can not understand why Joe Rogan says ground and pound from inside a guard is so hard, when it isn't, and if that's all you train because your a wrestler and that's it cool but this is MMA and if Tito was great then he should have never lost to Lidell in his last fight.





In ending Tito has Jenna Jameson on his arm lately and if anyone deserves a top 10 list for anything its him for landing an adult film star of her stature...lol
