Any Ultimate fighting fans out there? Who do you like as a coach better Ortiz or Shamrock?

I like Ortiz for his wild, unpredictable fighting style. Shamrocks' experience though....he continues to beat the best of the best because of his technical approach.

Any Ultimate fighting fans out there? Who do you like as a coach better Ortiz or Shamrock?
Shamrock does not have that technical of a background, and believe it or not, Ortiz is the more well-rounded fighter now. Shamrock has often been dinged for his out-of-date training methods at his Lions Den training facilities. They do not really have any top fighters there any more.





Ortiz on the other hand, has really improved his stand-up (training with Vargas or Vargas boxing trainers) and it looks as if he trainers grappling with Dean Lister. Also, just from the show, it seems that Ortiz has a more well rounded training approach than Shamrock.





One final comment, Ortiz is now know as a cardio machine in his fights due to an early career loss against the younger brother of Ken Shamrock, Frank. Frank destroyed Tito with his superior skill and conditioning back then. Cardio has always seemed to be an issue for Ken later in his career.
