Why do so much people hate Ken Shamrock?

I only know him from WWE/WWF. Why do most ultimate fight fans hate him.

i would believe that ultimate fighting fans hate him because they hate scripted wrestling. thats my opinion since the people who hate wrestling on yahoo say UFC rules, etc etc
Reply:Actually any of the old school UFC fans back in the day of Royce Gracie, Dan Severn, Don Frye and Ken Shamrock have nothing but respect for him and what he has done for mixed martial arts. He was a legend. I liked him in WWE as well. Lately he has aged and had lost a series of fights to loud mouth, Tito Ortiz. Shamrock looked bad in some of these fights so perhaps people do not like him because of this. But anyone who knows anything about the sport should have respect for him. HE was in the very first UFC and now there are over 70 and for him to still have been active after all these years speaks volumes about his endurance and dominance over the years.
