Clovers can have more than four leaflets. The most leaflets ever recorded is eighteen. It has been estimated that there are approximately 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every four-leaf clover

Reply:if u find one with 4 u are supposed 2 be lucky - i think its a load of nonsense!!
Reply:I'm hoping this is a trick question as a shamrock, by definition, is a clover-like plant with three-lobed leaves, no more or no less. If it has more leaves than this, it is nothing more than a 'multi-leaved clover,' not a true shamrock.

So I will say 3 leaves is the greatest number of leaves that CAN BE found on a shamrock.
Reply:i found 4 but stepped on it by accident. lol i think 4
