What are your thoughts on the ORTIZ / SHAMROCK results?

this was their third clash and it want exactly what i was expecting, but still a pretty decent fight to me.

What are your thoughts on the ORTIZ / SHAMROCK results?
I think Shamrock is past his prime and needs to spend time developing his business and making money, not fighting.
Reply:It's what one should have expected. The only surprise was that Ken actually decided to retire. I'm glad to hear that though.

And of course his shaking Tito's hand and raising his arm in victory after the match reminded me of the fake rassling events when the guys would be enemies before the match, but saying nothing but good things about each other after the match.
Reply:I was kind of disappointed with Ken's last several outings in the octagon. Back in UFC 1, he was touted as a submission fighter, then he worked and worked his standup. It seams like once someone takes him to the ground, he's totally lost. But Lions Den fighters used to be submission experts.

So what happened to Ken? Did he loose his submission abilities? Even in TUF, he never coached submissions, he got a boxing coach.
Reply:Disappointed but glad that Shamrock is retiring.
Reply:it was old the second time around.
Reply:I knew the fight was not going to last long! Shamrock is all washed up. I thought they both handled it very well after the fight and was happy to see them shake hands and be "men" about it. Cant wait for Ortiz and Chuck fight that will be a good one!
Reply:Dissapointed. I was hoping Ken would win. But at least Chuck Liddell is going to knock Tito out in December.
Reply:It was what I was expecting. I had some friends over watching the fights, and one was upset because he didn't think he would to be able to see the fight before going to work. When the fighters began walking out, my friend only had 7 minutes before he had to leave the house. I told him not to worry, he get to see the whole thing. He got to see the whole fight, including the hug at the end. I don't think Dana White was surprised either. I'm sure it was one of the reasons why the fight was free.
