Does anyone think Ken Shamrock should retire before fighting Tito Otiz again?

I really dont think Ken has a shot at winning and I think he is risking his life or his head to prove his manhood but lets all be real Tito is younger stronger and tougher than Ken but I am glad its free on spike tv

Does anyone think Ken Shamrock should retire before fighting Tito Otiz again?
Ken Shamrock lost my respect when he attempted to coach the guys on SPIKE'S TUF...and he did a horrible job. It was evident to me that he was only there because Tito was the other coach. He did a half-a$$ed job of training the guys and chose a dietitian for an assistant coach (wtf?).

Shamrock seems to have little or no control over his emotions and gets mad over the smallest things. I think he should get his ego under control and accept the fact that his best "in the ring" days are behind him now and he should concentrate on sharing his knowledge and experience with others.

Tito, on the other hand, was a fighter that I gained respect for after viewing him on TUF. I had never liked Tito much until I saw him giving his best to help his fighters improve. He made sound choices as assistants and gave them hands-on training. I have a new-found respect for Tito Ortiz.
Reply:My thoughts exactly! Report It

Reply:I could beat up both them 2 on 1. ...That's all I know. They're both wimps. What am I saying, I'm getting punked by a 16 year old at my job right now. Nevermind. Report It

Reply:I think he should retire...he's old~ but it would be kinda nice to watch Tito work him..again~I don't know why he continues to think that he has a chance beating Tito ~ not gonna happen. I guess
Reply:Ken says Tito doesnt stop running his mouth?? WTF, ken talks like he is still in the WWE...except they dont rig matches for him to win

Tito wins by brutal ground and pound again, again and again...and if Ken wants this fight to go more than 20seconds, he should try some sort of defense.....why cant he just admit he is getting beat by a better man? Always excuses from little kenny
Reply:If Ken cares more about his health. then a paycheck, then he should retire. Ortiz has owned him, and will contnue to do so.
Reply:i hate ken shamrock. he's washed up and definitely past his prime (if he ever had one). his mind is so messed up due to massive steroids abuse. his so-called "team" the lion's den (stupid name) are a bunch of steroid-freaks that are brainwashed by shamrock. his brother frank is actually the total opposite, he's more humble and reserved, i like him, but ken is a joke. he is the white mike tyson, a circus freak. sorry about the ranting and raving, no he should not retire so tito could pound him into a bloody mess and hopefully do some permenant damage. after it is done, shamrock 0-3 against ortiz
Reply:I think Shamrock should fight again, but he should postpone his match for about 6 months. That will give him enough time to get back on the roids and beef up so when he gets hit, he gets stronger and can't feel anything. This will give him a little more of a chance. Plus, this is what he does. He's only good at fighting. Not necessarily winning, but fighting. Let him go out his way. It's like a person who has a heart attack when they're eating. At least they go out on their own terms, happy.
Reply:Hell yes before he does any serious damage to his body and well being!
Reply:Never say never in the world of MMA competitions.

A lot of people disrespect Ken, but I am going to back him up here.

Ken (in my opinion) is nowhere near the talent he use to be. However, you still have to respect the man for still going!!

Overall, Ken Shamrock is an awesome fighter, and one of few fighters thats made the UFC what it is today. I have soooo much respect for him, and I will be watching his match against Ortiz!!!

Ken may be getting a bit old now.... but this is a sport HE LOVES!!! So when you look at his passion this way... should he give up or retire?

Whether Ken wins, lose or draw against Ortiz.... I truely respect the man... and you can learn many tricks from him to!!!

I respect any fighter that gets into a cage... it takes GUTS... and Ken Shamrock has had unbelievable guts in his carreer!!!

I cannot wait for the match...

All the best.... from a Ken Shamrock fan!!
Reply:No... I'd like to see Tito whoop his azz again. Then he can retire.

I'm glad this aint pay-per-veiw... UFC is getting to be an expensive habit for me...
Reply:Both great fighters. Ken Shamrock is my personal favorite, I have followed his career since I can remember. Even though Tito may have the youth advantage. Do not count Shamrock out. Tito, as good as he is, got lucky the last fight. Why? because the fight was stopped because Ken Shamrock couldnt coherently defend himself, but as soon as that happened, Shamrock was right up and complaining. Now, if he couldnt coherently defend himself, then he shouldnt have been able to get up and coherently ream the ref a new one. Maybe Shamrock should hang it up, but not before this fight. I'd like to see a definitive ending, regardless of who wins.
Reply:I think he should, but the contract has probably already been signed so it's too late unless he wants to pay for breaking his contract. He's ego's also too big for him to realize that he should have retired after the last Tito fight.
Reply:i actually have a strange feeling that shamrock is going to steal this one...X_X
Reply:He should have but oh well............Thank goodness for spike TV.
Reply:twice is enough dude....you might get lucky this time....but if someone totally beat my butt twice., i don't think i would be looking for a third time
Reply:Yes. I have been saying that since before the last fight.
Reply:Lets take all these fighters and put them in a dome where nobody can get out, have them all fight to death, then put the winner up on the pedestal, and shoot him in the face. Fu*k this Alpha Male sport, most of the worlds real fighters would never fight for money, these people you see are only the best because their standards and disciplines are so low.
