I think bruce would have the upper hand on it.

Dana is quoted saying "Bruce Lee is the father of MMA"...if you read his biography, Bruce always had fighting strategies brewing in his head, or training his weapon for it (on a daily basis) the dude was serious folks.





Bruce wrote down in the Tao of JKD, that when two fighters faught, once they clash, they will soon go into a grappling game.





his tools for grappling were:


wrestling: strangulation (hair control)


leg tackles


and tie ups.





judo: joint locks


chockes


leverage timing.





he also conditioned his body very much as a pro would.


general: running and flexibility


and this is important he specialised in: boxing, kicking, wrestling.


and for strenght, he did weights, and "Special aparatus" the dude invented his own kick pads and warrior pads for training purposes.





so yeah, if he was alive his strategy in place for winning only and the minimus ammount of time, although the other dude has a weight advantage...but bruce also knew about human nutrition, so if the weights were the same, my soul would be on Bruce.

Reply:its really questionable, since Bruce Lee was mostly an actor, although a great actor, and Shamrock is a mixed fighter. I think taking away the myths and legends and judging simply by experience Ken Shamrock should turn out a winner.

Reply:Sorry, but Bruce Lee would lose. He might be able to land a few punches from the outside, but Frank Shamrock has been hit by way bigger and stronger guys than Bruce Lee. As soon as Lee tried a kick, Frank would shoot and take him down, and it would be all over.

I don't like Shamrock but Shamrock would destroy Bruce. Bruce was small..140lbs. Shamrock is in the 200's. Shamrock actually fights for a living.





Bruce wasn't even trained to wrestle or grapple. Only in the movies does he win.

frank would proceed to pummel bruce's corpse into submission until his head popped off and frank would then proceed to entertain the disappointed crowd by playing hacky sack with bruce's rotting corpse.





The crowd would still boo and rush the octagon fighting over the rest of bruce's body.





Those that got to take bits and peices of the deceased martial arts actor would sell them on ebay for hefty sums of money.
