Everyone knows what a shamrock looks like, but the other one I've been thinking of is a Claddagh symbol, I have a claddagh ring and it's basically two hands with a heart in the middle and a crown over the heart. I've got one more week to decide for sure which one I want and either one I would be happy with and love. I'm just a little torn between the two. It's going on my right shoulder.
Which one do you think, shamrock or claddagh?
I am having a Claddagh designed for myself. It as a beautiful design, with 3 awesome meanings. Mine has a shamrock incorporated in the drawing. Just make sure you love the design.

Reply:If your that torn between the both I would get both.Depending on how good your tatto artist is you can work them both into one tattoo perhaps the claddagh around the stem of the shamrock. which ever you decide good luck ( i have both also)
Reply:If it were up to me, I'd get the Claddagh. It's a beautiful image and I love the symbolism of love, loyalty, and friendship. I think a shamrock is too common, lots of people have them. I'm not sure how many people have claddagh tattoos. I've never seen one myself. Just make sure it's something you really, really want since it's gonna be there forever! lol
