the ufc web site read as if the shamrock/ortiz fight was going to be the first fight of the night tonight, can anyone confirm this, and also if you know the exact time of the fight that would be huge.
Is shamrock vs. ortiz going to be the first fight of the night tonight?
The top of the card is the main event. It is usually the last fight. Win or lose Shamrock is retiring from UFC after this one.
Reply:No, usually if it's a main event or a title fight on the card, then it's gonna be one of the last fights if not THE last fight on the card for the night
Reply:Of course not....wadaya? new????
Reply:No that's the main even they just put it on the site first because it is the headliner of the night. Also you wouldn't put the main event first. Also it's hard to tell when the exact time of the fight is pending how the other fights go.
Reply:they will fight last, the other fighters from the untimate fighter are being showcased first,,, hamil, grove, herman,,, etc... cant wait to see if hamil can compete as well as tito thought!
Reply:has to be last
Reply:It's the main event.
Reply:it is the preliminary fight
Reply:No. UFC has it listed first because it is the main event. The listings start with the main event and then trickle down to the less famous fighters. Same thing with boxing matches.
