We are loking at buying a travel trailer but want to be able to tow it with our current vehicle. Our manual says we can tow up 6500 llbs. THis would be about 55 when it is packed and ready to go. What do we need to know about towind. We have towed a boat before.

-Does the trailer have breaks?
-Are there any steep grades to get where you are going? Or is this in a hot climate (heat is big when towing?)
-Do you have a class IV trailer hitch?
-How manny axles on the trailer? If you have a twin axle trailer you will probably be fine.
