Why is Frank Shamrock starting to be a poor sport during fights?

I didn't mind when he made "sleeping" gestures to Phil Baroni during their fight because that guy was a punk, fixing his hair in the mirror before the fight and taunting Shamrock first. But, Cung Le never talked any shiit and Shamrock game him the same "sleeping" gesture for no reason. I wonder now if he wishes he would have thought that one through a little more.

Why is Frank Shamrock starting to be a poor sport during fights?
Because he promotes fights with his showmanship, antics and trash talking. In reality, he and Cung Le are friends and Shamrock felt the only way he could promote the fight was as the bad guy. Whether or not Shamrock is an asshole in reality is a question I can't answer, but I can say for sure that at least some of it is just a show.
Reply:Business, Frank has a lot of videos he posted personally on youtube, he doesn't seem like a bad guy at all. He does talk a lot of crap but I guess people are more attracted to bigmouths tha can actually fight nowadays.

hype up his fights, hes just a businessman, and people still fall for it, people buy tickets because they hate him and want to see him lose when hes actually a really nice guy, and the way his shows are always sold out hes a smart business man as well.


I've met him on a few occasions and hes really nice, and so is Cung Le.

Plus ego conquers the battle most of the time, something which cung le didn't allow and he did pretty good for his first match into MMA.

used to be a huge fan of kens but ever since the switch to wrestling he hasnt been the same......steroids???





idk but they all do lift alot and have a bodybuilding workout and diet and wouldnt be suprised if he was using roids or hgh or atleast test booster but yea he def has been worst lately

Reply:Check it... MMA is a multi-million dollar industry and fighters want a piece of the pie... Frank shamrocks antics are merely a means to obtain more money... Though I wanted Cung Le to win, I have a lot of respect for Shamrock... MMA is a business, thats it.. He is not really an asshole, if you check out his stuff where he doesnt know hes bein interviewed he is actually a very nice intelligent person.. As for the Cung Le fight... This was a super friendly competition, and both fighters had the utmost respect for the other. Shamrock and Le were actually training partners.. So this whole hes a dick 2 Cung Le is jus not whats goin on.. Its a ploy for the money!
